TUESDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER: Work Party meets between 8.00 and 9.00am at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach. Work starts at 9.30AM at Upper Ynysmeudwy Lock, Ynysmeudwy. Parking in the Canal and River Trust Car Park  (first left past the Ynysmeudwy Arms pub). We will be working to complete the work that the Waterway Recovery Group started on the by-wash of the lock). As this requires the erection of the youngmans board and the wooden safety rails across the lock chamber we will be working to late afternoon to make the preparation worthwhile. We will be joined by Jeremy  Miles (AM) at 10.00am.

Jeremy Miles AM is the Welsh Labour and Co-operative Party Assembly Member in the National Assembly for Wales for Neath. He is a member of the Welsh Government where he is Counsel General for Wales.
Jeremy was born and brought up in Pontarddulais and, as a Welsh speaker, was educated at Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera in the Swansea valley and New College, Oxford where he read law.
