Today the weather forecast was for scattered showers. We took the chance to work in the Upper Lock at Ynysmeudwy and luckily were hit by only one significant shower. Two main tasks were undertaken. The first was to repair the nearside wall: Cement was mixed, stones were retrieved and then carefully positioned.

Time for a break, with cakes provided by our newest recruit, Yun Yun.

Much was achieved, as luckily the weather was kind. The scaffolding will be going soon so next week we will be working in the chamber again.
