The volunteers enjoyed a really lovely summer’s day back on the canal upstream from the Riverside Community Centre and normal service was resumed with Admiral Gordon in the boat. First, we tackled a tree that was mostly one large trunk, covered in ivy, that we pulled out in substantial chunks. Ropes and pulleys were needed, plus much grunting and groaning. |
