Some photos of our work at Clydach Aqueduct where we joined forces with the Players Industrial Estate volunteers to make the  canal, the Aqueduct and the surrounding area as beautiful as it can be.

THE BYWASH REBUILT BY WRG VOLUNTEERS. AUG 4th to AUG 11th.

WRG AT TREBANOS LOCK; 7.8.18

THE VOLUNTEERS OF THE  WATERWAY RECOVERY GROUP TRAVELLED DOWN FROM THEIR MAIN BASE AT UPPER YNYSMEUDWY LOCK TODAY  TO CLEAR SOME OF THE CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF RUBBISH IN THE BOTTOM OF THE UPPER TREBANOS LOCK. THEY DID PRODIGIOUS WORK   HELPED, OF COURSE, BY OUR OWN SCS VOLUNTEERS.  MANY BLUE BAGS WERE FILLED FOR THE COUNCIL...

WATERWAY RECOVERY GROUP AT YNYSMEUDWY LOCK: (2)

      MANY STONES HAVE COLLAPSED INTO THE BYWASH  AND THEY NEEDED TO BE  RELAID OR REPLACED. THE  BYWASH WAS KEPT DRY WHILE THE VOLUNTEERS WORKED IN IT BY DIVERTING ALL THE WATER THROUGH THE MAIN LOCK CHAMBER.
