Coed Gwilym Park

Have you ever wondered how a canal works and how boats can climb hills? The British Science Festival is coming to Swansea and on Tuesday 6 September the Swansea Canal Society and the Friends of Clydach Heritage Centre, will jointly be hosting an event entitled the Power of Water. There will be canoe rides with local guides to explain how the canal operated and a working model of a lock to show how boats travelled up and down hill. Come along and see how it all happened, from 10:30am.
