Canoes 6.7.14

We had a steady flow of customers on a lovely sunny day today. All levels of experience were represented, from those who had kayaked on the sea to first timers. I don’t think any one has been as nervous as the lady in this kayak, with her husband.

However she bravely took her place in the canoe, with a smile and a laugh, and between them they managed to manoeuvre the kayak into the direction they wanted.

Their son joined them, and they were all given lots of advice and encouragement by David. She is a teacher at a local school so she she took our instruction very well.

Although it looks here as if they are about to collide, they in fact set off and did extremely well. It just shows that it doesn’t take long to get the knack of what to do. We hope to see them back again soon.
