The Co-op supermarket in Clydach is having a celebration day on Saturday 25th November to present its chosen charities with the money raised by Co-op customers through its plastic bag levy and branded sales schemes. We are honoured to have been one of those charities.

The money that loyal Co-op members have raised for the Swansea Canal Society over the last few months will be put towards buying a multi purpose trailer.

Cari, the manager of the Co-op allowed us to have a stall in their foyer to sell craft items during the donation period and we hope to do the same on November the 25th. It will also allow us to say thanks to the Co-op for this wonderful initiative, and keep our supporters informed of what we are currently doing on the canal.

Co-op Members have helped raise an amazing £20 million since September 2016, which has supported over 8,000 local causes. We are proud to be one of those causes.
