SUNDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER:  Canoe hire from Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire 10.30am, last hire 2.30pm. Canadian Canoes £7, double kayaks £5, single Kayaks £4. One mile of  beautiful canal to paddle. Rafts available at £10. For Full Terms and Conditions see under Canoe Hire on this website.

clydach03TUESDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER: Work continues at Clydach Lock to replace the sleepers on the top edge of the lock chamber. Work party meets at Brownsters Cafe, Clydach between 8.00am and 9.00am. Work starts 9.15 am.

THURSDAY 14TH SEPTEMEBER: Presentation by Pontardawe Town Council at the Pontardawe Arts Centre at 7.00pm to charitable organisations and individual volunteers who give so much of their spare time to help the town and its people.   Michelle Davidson, of the SCS, will be receiving one such award. Congratulations, Michelle.
