THE WEEK AHEAD: 11.10.14 -18.10.14.

Tuesday 14th October:  Work Party meets at 8.15 at BROWNSTERS CAFE  for tea and a gossip before the main  proceedings.  Alternatively, you may choose to meet us at the CRT depot, 28 Hebron Road Clydach at 9.15 as tools are distributed. The Work commences at 9.30 at Pont John Bridge, Clydach clearing vegetation from the off side bank.  We will be working our way north towards Clydach Lock. We will also continue to drag the duck weed and Canadian Pond Weed from the channel in this section.

 

Thursday 16th October: Monthly Open Meeting at Vardre Rugby Club, Hebron Road, Clydach in the upstairs room at 7.15 pm. Please let me have items for the agenda asap. All welcome.

 

Saturday 18th October:   The Local History Live exhibition is on at the Waterfront Museum, Swansea on Saturday 18th October from 10 am to 4pm.  We are having a table and we need volunteers to man it. Even if you cannot do the whole six hours,  an hour or two will be appreciated.
