The Week Ahead: 14th JANUARY 2018 TO 21st JANUARY 2018

TUESDAY 16TH: Work Party meets at Brownsters cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00am and 9.00am. Work starts at the Old Highways Depot, Clydach at 9.15. We have been clearing up the yard in preparation for the official opening of the towpath/cycle path on Tuesday the 23rd January at 11.00am. We will continue this work today. As you can see from the photos the green metal fencing has been moved and the towpath is safely fenced off from the rest of the site where future restoration will take place. A marquee will be placed near the site office  (bottom picture, under the large conifer) for refreshments (and shelter,in case of bad weather) on the 23rd.  Please  come along on the 23rd for the opening. You will be made very welcome.

SUNDAY 21ST JANUARY: The Sunday Work Party will be rubbing down the railings south of Herbert Street Bridge,Pontardawe  in preparation for repainting them. Meet at Herbert Street bridge at 10.00am.
