THE WEEK AHEAD: 2.11.14 TO 8.11.14.

Tuesday, 4th November 2014: Work Party meets at Brownsters cafe at 8.15 for tea and gossip. Alternatively, you can join us at the Depot, 28 Hebron Road at 9.15 when we will be collecting the tools. We will be working at two sites:-

1. At the back of the Co-op supermarket, Clydach, using ‘Nellie’ on the canal and two or three other volunteers on land to continue the off-side vegetation overhang clearance. There is a large fence between the Supermarket and the canal so it will be quite a narrow corridor we will be working in.

2. The other team, led by Gordon and Gareth will take the brush cutter and other tools up to Clydach Lock and work their way south towards the first team. Pennants and commerorative medals will be exchanged when we meet in the middle.

Wednesday, 5th November:
South Wales & Severn Autumn Waterway Forum
5th November 2014, 6:30pm to 8:30pm
To be held at:-
Cross Community Centre, 1 High Street, Pontardawe SA8 4HU
We are pleased that the Forum meeting is being held down here in the West, something that has only happened once before. It would be great if as many people as possible attended as it is an opportunity to raise issues of concern.
We look forward to a good attendance
