THE WEEK AHEAD: 8TH AUGUST TO 14TH AUGUST.

Work Party 31.5 (8)

TUESDAY 9th August: Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00am. Work will start between Herbert Street bridge and Holly Street Bridge, Pontardawe to prepare this section of the canal for the Pontardawe Summer Festival on Saturday August 20th when we will be offering short canoe and kayak rides to the public. We will be testing out the pontoon and flat bottomed boat as launching platforms. We will also be ensuring the depth of water is sufficient for the vessels.

TUESDAY 9th August:  Canoes for hire (weather permitting) at Coed Gwilym Park from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Canoes £7, Kayaks £5 and £4. Full terms and conditions on the website under Canoe Hire. As we are working on two sites at the same time we need as much help as possible. Please come along to help if you can.

SUNDAY  14th August: Canoes for hire at Coed Gwilym Park from 11.00am to 3.15pm. Last hire at 2.30. Prices and conditons as shown above.
