Tuesday’s work party returned to south of the Highways Depot in Pontardawe Road to finish the silt removal started on Friday. This led to the discovery of several old tyres in the canal.

We disposed of the tyres in the CRT skip close by.

Now all we need to do is clear the silt and the bank will be ready for public approval once again.
