Work Party: Tuesday 28th May 2024

Mea culpa! Your reporter was so involved with our Green Flag Community Award assessment he forgot to take photos. With abject apologies to those doughty volunteers who turned out on another very wet day…….

Gordon chatted to Gerry, our assessor. Gordon appeared a little distracted but Gerry seemed impressed with what he saw. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome

The volunteers completed the repair to the bank alongside the swing bridge. There’s no photographic evidence for them hard at work but the product of their labours is magnificent.

Congratulations to our volunteers for a job well done in atrocious conditions.
