The day at Ynysmeudwy started off lovely and warm but soon became very hot so we restricted ourselves to a short session bashing Himalayan balsam, mostly around the lower lock. Bert and Chris used strimmers but for the rest of us it was hand power! The job was done in a couple of hours so we scampered back for a cuppa. |

Drinks were accompanied by a couple of cakes baked by Andy. Anna and Cerys scrounged for crumbs, as usual. |

So, with a job well done, we packed up and left after tea. Some of us went back to the Canal Centre but others simply toddled off home for an early bath. |
