Phew, what a scorcher! With the mercury hovering around 30°C we took to the relative shade offered by the trees at the Ynysmeudwy Locks, after some of us actually managed to find the locks, that is. We restricted ourselves to a little balsam-bashing. Unfortunately there are very few photos because by the time your favourite reporter emerged from the jungle, everyone had cleared off for tea! |

Tea was taken on the bridge. Christina was our baker du jour. Her selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes were all so tasty. After a cuppa, some grub and a chat we decided it was far too hot to continue so we all went home. |
