Gordon and Sharon were recently interviewed by BBC Radio Wales for the “Country Focus” programme. They spoke about the Swansea Canal past, present and future with particular emphasis on the wonderful restoration of the Clydach Lock. You can listen to the programme, that was first broadcast on Sunday 15th September, by either logging in to “BBC Sounds” and searching for “Country Focus” or by clicking this link. The interviewer was so impressed with the piece that she wrote “Thanks, it has made a lovely item and I am trying to persuade the producer that we should come back to do a whole programme on Clydach in the future so if you have any major milestones (not just with the canal) let me know.” |
