Canal bed exposed

CRT are currently working on a portion of the canal north of Trebanos Lock and the water has been temporarily diverted into the River Tawe that runs alongside the canal.

The water is carried to the river by a sluice, (above) which is a Cadw listed structure

The canal is fed by many streams. The one above is in full flow from the recent rainfall.
