Canoes 3.5.15.
We had a quiet day on the canoes today. As well as David’s demonstration (see previous blog) we were helped out by Anthony, Gordon, Gill and Gareth and their granddaughter Alice. Alice collected a bag of litter from the park and also helped Martin plant some Holly and Vibernum in our small flower bed behind the last of the daffodils.
She then went off for a paddle in a kayak and
was soon joined by Gill, while David escorted
a canoe of first time, nervous, young canoeists
along the canal in his kayak.
