Christmas Party – Wednesday 18th December 2024

The Christmas dinner for 2024 was celebrated in style in the Old Glais Inn. The room, the food and the service were all outstanding so all we had to do was to eat, drink and be merry – we managed all three with ease!

Gordon thanked the volunteers for their hard work throughout the year and talked about the fantastic progress with our two major projects: The Swansea Canal Centre is now up and running and the Buried Lock redevelopment is well on the way to completion. He spoke warmly about our dear friend, Alan Williams, who passed away so tragically.

The weather outside was frightful but it had cheered up no end by the time we had to leave.

Many thanks for Christina and Moira for organising the meal.
