THE  ITV CAMERA CREW CAME TO VISIT US FOR A PIECE ABOUT OUR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE REGULAR FRIDAY NIGHT PROGRAMME ‘COAST AND COUNTRY’. IT SHOULD BE BROADCAST IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE, PERHAPS AS ONE OF THE PIECES FOR THE NEW SERIES WHICH STARTED LAST FRIDAY NIGHT.

WE CONCENTRATED ON THE TOWPATH BANKS WHICH WE ARE REPAIRING SO WHILE THE CEMENT MIX WAS PREPARED AT THE CANOE STORE IT WAS TAKEN ON THE DUMPER TO THE  TEAM LAYING THE SANDBAGS AND THE TOP COPING STONES  FURTHER UP THE CANAL.

WE ALSO VISITED THE CLYDACH BURIED LOCK SITE WHERE WE SHOWED THE ITV TEAM THE MODELS OF THE RESTORED LOCK AND ALSO CARRIED OUT THE DETAILED MEASUREMENTS FOR ALL THE STRUCTURES WE WILL BE BUILDING ON THE SITE.
