These photos were taken on 25^th March 2025. Since November 2024, many dead birds have been found on the canal. The birds are being shot. The police have taken two carcasses for examination and found them to contain pellets.

This is completely unacceptable and one can only wonder as to the motivation of the person or persons responsible. They must be found soon as they may need help. If you have seen anything unusual or have any information that might be helpful in identifying the offenders, then please contact the police by phoning 101.
