Easter Bunnies 2025 – A Reminder and Request for Volunteers

Here we go again! The 2025 season for canoe and kayak hire kicks off on 20th April with another “Easter Bunnies” extravaganza in Coed Gwilym Park. Come along with your Easter bonnet or, better still, in fancy dress. Enjoy a paddle along the canal and take part in the Easter egg hunt but above all have fun! But first, we have a plea for help: As you know, the canoe and hire is operated wholly by volunteers, as is the entire Swansea Canal Society. Are you willing to join the team? There’s no ongoing commitment – just a few hours on an occasional Sunday to suit yourselves. If you would like to help, please attend the training day this Sunday, 13th April starting at 10am in Coed Gwilym Park. |
