“Feel Good” Group on the Swansea Canal

Gill Thomas writes this report:

Fresh air, friends and fun this is what our Feel Good group enjoyed recently when we took to the water on the canoes hired out on the Swansea Canal. Our group meets every Monday at the Pavilion cafe in Coed Gwilym park and just along the path is the lovely canal. The friendly Swansea Canal Society volunteers encouraged the group and their relatives to have a go on the very stable Canadian canoes locked together. Those who watched had as much fun watching the rowers too as you can see.

Thank you so much for this experience. It’s a ‘why not’ attitude of the dementia group with their family members that keeps us happy. We are trying bowls very soon!
