Green Flag Community Award 2025/2026

Green Flag Community Award 2025/2026

We’ve done it again! We have been awarded the Green Flag Community Award for the tenth year. We unfurled the flag during our tea break this morning then Mike, Bob and Andy {well, mostly Mike} lowered the old flag and before you know it the new one was flying gallantly above the Canal Centre.

We are immensely proud of our wonderful volunteers who have worked so hard throughout the last year and very grateful for the support from Glandŵr Cymru and all our friends in the community. Remember that it is your canal so get out and about to enjoy it. We will continue to maintain the canal as best we can and would welcome any of you who would like to help us.

Many congratulations to all the other worthy winners of this prestigious award and thanks to Keep Wales Tidy.
