The Swansea branch of the Historical Association is hosting its annual History & Heritage Fair on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September in the National Waterfront Museum. The Swansea Canal Society will be there on Saturday with a selection of artefacts retrieved from the canal and the famous “By ‘ere” Tapestry (not to be confused with the rather more famous tapestry currently on view in the British Museum!) Visit our stand to learn a bit more about the history of the canal and share your stories of living by it. There will be a free lecture on both days. Many others will also be exhibiting – see the poster for a full details. |
