Julie James, AM, visits the Canoes 7.6.15
Julie James, AM for Swansea West took time from her very busy schedule to join us on a beautiful summer Sunday in the Park. She came with her husband, family and the family dog. We were unable to entice any of them onto the canoes but Julie promised to bring her office ‘team’ down for a canoe bonding exercise in the near future. We are very grateful for her continued support for our canal
The park was a picture yesterday with a jazz band playing in a marquee to and the deck chairs were out for the first time in front of the Clydach Heritage Centre. We had our best day this year financially on the canoes so it was a good day all round. Thanks to all our hard working volunteers for making it such a success.
