Lloyds volunteers 15.9.15

We were delighted to welcome eight members of the Lloyds Bank Staff who are based at the Llansamlet offices to the Lower Trebanos Lock. They were very willing workers and assisted us in hauling the vast amounts of stone from the far end of the canal to the lock where it is needed for the new wall. Some of them were also shown how to repoint with lime and mortar and they got into the lock chamber with full protectve gear on to help with the repointing.
With these very able extra hands we made great progress with erecting the wall and repointing of the lock chamber. We thank them for their help and hope to see them again soon.
