Swansea Canal Society provides a much loved and valued service for the community. The canal once close to being lost is now a wonderful green corridor between Clydach and Ynysmeudwy, much used by bikers and walkers, with and without dogs! Our canoe and kayak hire is much appreciated both by pre-booked groups and by “walk-ins”.

One of our current projects that needs special support at the moment is the Swansea Canal Centre situated on Hebron Road, Clydach. Creating a new building on the site of the former derelict eyesore is nearing completion but we need your help to fit it out and maintain it.

We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service! Remember – it’s your canal so please support us if you can.
