Museum Exhibit Goes On Tour
Following a hugely successful run at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea we are pleased to announce that the exhibition celebrating 225 years of the Swansea Canal will be coming to a venue near you soon. The exhibition finishes at the museum on 18th September and will then be moving to The Welfare, Ystradgynlais until 13th October. Next there is a chance to catch it at Pontardawe Heritage Centre until 28th October before heading up the valley once more to Craig y Nos Country Park for 2 weeks from 30th October to 12th November. |

As well as historical information since the opening of the canal in 1798, the displays cover the work of the Swansea Canal Society and future plans to develop the canal as a tourist destination. It also features videos made by local schoolchildren. Free to view at all the venues, why not come along and learn more about our canal? |
