“Pirates in the Park” this year was our busiest hire session to date. The weather was glorious so the paddlers were out in force. Our fantastic volunteers all worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the day.

Our pet crocodile, suitably attired, ensured there was no mischief aboard.

Andrew, one of our volunteers but here today as a boater, writes “Thank you ever so much. The girls thoroughly enjoyed it so much so that Poppy fell asleep on the way back!”

The Society’s thanks are due to all the volunteers that worked so hard and to the boaters that had great fun and, in doing so, helped to support the Society.
