Player’s Yard Boys Do The Hard Yards.

Our newest recruit to the Swansea Canal Society just happens to be the manager of the Players Industrial Estate. Colin Twells promised that he would make the link between his Estate and the bottom end of the canal below the Clydach Aqueduct a far more attractive place. Well, he has been true to his word. For too long the  public footpath between the estate and the canal has been narrow, overgrown, and not very pleasant. His men got down to work in the baking heat this Saturday and Sunday. Just look at the tranformation they made to the path.

Colin arranged a BBQ for all his workers and invited the Swansea Canal Scoiety to join him on Sunday. Here is Zoe, Colin's wife, cooking the burgers.

We thank everyone involved at Players Yard for this fantastic gesture that has improved access along the public footpath between Players and the Canal.
