Plogging? Plalking? or Just plain Plittering?

It’s all the latest craze. It must be, it was on Sky News yesterday. It comes from Scandinavia and this mixture of jogging and collecting plastic  litter is sweeping the country. Here is what it is all about:-

Of course, you could slow down to a walk  and then it becomes plawking, or if you  collect the litter along the Swansea Canal as our volunteers have done for the past thirty odd years it’s just a pleasant amble, or plamble (which if you do it before breakfast becomes a pre-plamble). And if you do it from a boat it must be Ploating.

MIke and Alan return to Coed Gwilym Park from a litter picking cruise to Trebanos.

Whatever you call it is good to see joggers and walkers taking on this extra activity. We await the first Plogger to hit the Swansea Canal.
