PONTARDAWE TO YNYSMEUDWY SUNDAY WORK PARTIES TO START IN MAY.
Monthly work parties for the maintenance of the northern half of the Swansea Canal will commence on Sunday, May 21st. This is a joint project with the Canal and River Trust who own the canal. Litter picking and vegetation clearance will be the first priorities and the work will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.00pm. On subsequent months the party will meet on the second Sunday of each month. Gloves, hi-vis vests and litter pickers will be provided. The first party will meet at Herbert Street bridge. Everyone will be made very welcome.
