Sunday 2nd of August: Canoes for hire from Coed Gwilym Park. Canoes £7.00, kayaks £5 and £4. One mile of paddling in lovely surroundings up to Trebanos Locks. First hire 11.00am. Last hire 2.30pm. Full details and conditions on the website.

Tuesday 4th August. Work Party meets (8.15 to 9.00am) at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach which has reopened after Wayne’s holidays. Work starts at Trebanos Locks, repointing the lower lock chamber and backfilling the willow hurdles on the off-side bank.
