THE WEEK AHEAD: 10TH APRIL TO 16TH APRIL 2017.

Virgin Media 6.10 (2)TUESDAY 11TH APRIL:  WORK PARTY MEETS AT BROWNSTERS CAFE HIGH STREET, CLYDACH BETWEEN 8.00 AND 9.00AM. Work commences at 9.30 north of Upper Trebanos Lock repairing wash holes to prevent bank erosion. We now have our own generator which will make the work easier.

SUNDAY 16TH APRIL:

Swansea Canal Society are having a multi-sport ‘taster’ sessions at Coedgwilym Park in Clydach

Working in partnership with  Cwmtawe Cycle Group, and Clydach Bowls Club, who will be offering tasters and demonstrations. T

There will be supervised canoeing and kayaking,runs and bike rides with demonstrations and ‘top tips’ and advice to make taking part enjoyable.
There will be short runs within the park boundaries, plus soccer, fitness and playground equipment activities, memory and logic challenges, and also displays and models, and refreshments at the Heritage Centre.

Children will need to be signed in as per our usual T & C’s for insurance etc.   Registration fees  are £3 per person and £10 per family.  All participants will receive a certificate.  Come along and join in the fun.
