Tuesday 16th May: We meet at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00 am. Work starts,as it has done for the past two weeks at the terminus of the southern section, next to the Pontardawe Playing Fields, Trebanos. This is 300 yards north of Upper Trebanos Lock. Tow path edge renewal continues.

Sunday 21st May: Canoe and Kayak Hire at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach from 10.30 to 2.30. Canoes £7, Single kayaks £4, double kayaks £5. Full conditions and terms are found under Canoe Hire on the website.

Sunday 21st May: Monthly Work parties on the northern section of the canal from Pontardawe northwards commence this Sunday at 10.00 am.  Work will end between 2.00 and 3.00 pm. Meet at Herbert Street bridge, Pontardawe. Gloves, hi vis vests and litter pickers provided. Please wear stout boots. The monthly work parties will continue on the second Sunday of each month.
