THE WEEK AHEAD: 17TH OCTOBER TO 23RD OCTOBER.
Tuesday, 18th October: The march of the coping stones will continue down the towpath. We now have three lengths of shuttering so progress should be even faster in adding an attractive finish to the canal edge. The Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe, High Street Clydach between 8.00and 9.00am. Work starts from the canoe store in Coed Gwilym Park at 9.30am. We will also be dredging silt from the canal using our home made ‘bonfire brazier’ with holes in it. We will be contuinually monitoring the water quality to ensure that no detrimental effect occurs to aquatic life while we do this.
