THE WEEK AHEAD: 17TH SEPTEMBER TO 23RD SEPT 2017.

Canoes in Coed Gwilym Park

SUNDAY 17 TH SEPTEMBER: Canoe hire in Coed Gwilym Park , Clydach from 10.30. to 13.30 (last hire). Canadian Canoes (3 seater) £7, double kayaks, £5, single kayaks £4. Full terms and conditions can be seen under ‘Canoe Hire’ on this website.  Enjoy the autumn colours along this lovely stretch of canal.

Sunday02SUNDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER: Canal clean up at Ynysmeudwy Locks from 10.00am. Meet at the Canal and River Trust car park close to the Ynsymeudwy Arms public house at 10.00am. Michelle will be leading the group. Gloves, hi-vis vests, and tools provided.  Finishes  around lunchtime. All welcome.

clydach05TUESDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER: Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe between  8.00 and 9.00am. Work continues from 9.15 at the Clydach Lock where we are replacing the rotten sleepers and repointing the chamber. All welcome.

WEDNESDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER: Monthly Open Meeting of the Swansea Canal Society at the Vardre Rugby Club, Hebron Road, Clydach at 7.30pm. All welcome.
