THE WEEK AHEAD: 18TH JULY TO 24TH JULY 2015.

Saturday July 18th: Waterways Recovery Group leaders, cooks and volunteers arrive at Ynyscedwyn Scout Hut where they will be staying for the week’s summer camp.

Sunday 19th July: The WRG volunteersn along with SCS members commence work on clearing the vegetation on Upper and Lower Trebanos Locks. The week will continue with lime mortar repointing of the lock chambers, tow path edge rebuilding, and repairs to the wing walls. A dredger will arrive on Monday to clear silt from the canal channel.

Sunday 19th July: Canoe hire in Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire at 11.00am. Last hire at 2.30. Setting up form 10.00am. Canoes £7, kayaks £5 and £4.

Monday 20th to Friday 24th: WRG volunteers, CRT staff and SCS members will be working each day on or near Trebanos Locks.
