THE WEEK AHEAD: 20TH DEC TO 26TH DEC 2015.
TUESDAY 22ND DECEMBER: Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe between 8.00am and 8.45am. Work commences at the Old Council Depot Pontardawe Road Clydach at 9.00am where yellow lines are to be drawn along the buried canal to indicate its protected route.
We will then move to the land south of the Connect2 bridge over the Tawe next to the Mond where levels will be taken to ensure that the line of the canal down the old Mond railway Line is suitable for a new canal route. Readings will be taken as far south as Ken Collyers farm on Garth Road.
