The Week Ahead: 20th March to 26th March 2017

IMG_20170307_134738410Tuesday 21st March: Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe between 8.00 and 9.00am. We will start work at 9.30 in the depot in Pontardawe Road where a number of jobs need doing:-

1. Remove the metal fencing on top of the wall which is to be demolished at the southern end of the depot.

2. Demolish that wall.

3. Angle grind a bridge-like shape out of the alley wall to the south of the demolished wall, thus giving a view down the canal from the depot.

4. Prepare to fix wooden gates from St. Benedict’s Church into the depot site.

5. Fix willow whips in the bank to the south of the depot where the canal has been narrowed due to last year’s dredging.

We will see how far we get in these endeavours.

SATURDAY 25TH MARCH 10.30 am at COED GWILYM PARC
