SUNDAY 20TH MAY: Canoe and Kayak hire from the canoe store in Coed Gwilym Park. First hire 10.30, last hire 2.30pm.  Rafts, canadian canoes, double and single kayaks for hire  along this lovely stretch of the canal up to Trebanos Locks. TUESDAY 22ND MAY:  WORK PARTY AT YNYSMEUDWY lOCKS:  Strimming and clearance work in preparation for the WRG Camp  in August. Meet at the CRT car park (first turning left after the Ynysmeudwy Arms at 9.15).

WEDNESDAY 23RD MAY:  BUFFET LUNCH at 12.30 for all the South Wales canal volunteer organisations hosted by the Trustees of the Canal and River Trust at the 14 Locks Centre on the Crumlin Arm of the Brec and Mon Canal. Five members of the SCS will be attending.

THURSDAY 24TH MAY: Work Party meets at 12.00 at the Coed Gwilym Park car park. We will continue to denail the timbers in the Old Council Yard, and repair the washholes north of the Canoe Store. We will be joined at 2.00pm by Richard Parry, the CEO of the Canal and River Trust in the UK, and Nigel Annett who took over as chair of Bwrdd Glandŵr Cymru in 2016.
