Tuesday 24th October: Work Party meets at Brownsters Cafe, HIgh Street Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00am. Work starts  at two sites at 9.15:-

1. Clydach Lock:  Finish back filling behind sleepers. Use lime mortar mix to cement sleepers to top coping stones. Angle grind top of bolts level with sleeper tops. Prepare for repointing of chamber.

2. Old Highways Depot, Pontardawe Road, Clydach.  Complete access gate in security fence. Add HERAS fencing to existing security between the canal and work site.

Wednesday 25th October: Monthly meeting of the Swansea Canal Society at 7.30pm in the Vardre Rugby Club, Hebron Road. All welcome.
