Enjoy the Swansea Canal at canal level. First hire 10.30am, last hire 2.30pm. One mile of easy paddling from Coed Gwilym Park, Canoe Store, Clydach to Lower Trebanos Lock. For full terms and conditions see under ‘Canoe Hire’ on the website. Rafts also available if notice given.

TUESDAY 25TH JULY:

There will, if possible, be an SCS presence at three venues today, subject to volunteer numbers.

1. The Old Highways Depot Clydach: We will continue to clear the yard, and build the ramped wall in preparation for the tarmacing of the new towpath through the yard along the old route of the canal.

2. Ynysmeudwy Locks: The Pontardawe Sunday Work Party has already made a start here and we wish to continue the good work on this  overdue make-over of the two locks.

3. Canoes and kayaks for hire in Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire 10.00am: Last hire 1.00pm. Other conditions as for Sunday July 23rd above.
