THE WEEK AHEAD: 26.10.14 to 1.11.14.

Sunday 26th October 10.30am: Canoe Clean Up at the Canoe Store Coed Gwilym PArk, Clydach. Now that our first canoe season is behind us we will give the canoes an autumn clean. Bring your marigolds, mops and buckets. CORRECTION: This event has now been cancelled as the canoe store was broken into on Thursday night (23.10.14.)

Tuesday 28th October: Work Party meets at Brownsters cafe, High Street, Clydach at 8.15 for breakfast. Or meet us on site at Clydach Aqueduct, Hebron Road Clydach at 9.30.am. We will be planting daffodil bulbs, continuing to clear vegetation north of Pont John Bridge as well as removing duck and Canadian Pond Weed from the channel.

Wednesday 29th October: Joint clean-up of the Swansea Canal Nature Reserve at Ynysmeudwy. We will be working with the Neath Port Talbot Wildlife Team to clear the Nature Reserve entrance and the canal next to it. Start time, TBC.
