THE WEEK AHEAD: 26TH JUNE TO 2ND JULY 2017.

work23May01TUESDAY 27TH JUNE: Work Party meets at Brownster’s Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00am. Work starts at 9.15 three hundred yards north of the Upper Trebanos Lock  where the canal disappears into the half mile long pipe. We will be preparing the banks for  the restoration work which will be completed by the Waterways Recovery Group in the week commencing Sunday the 9th of July.

TUESDAY  27TH JUNE: 10.00am: Private party booking for the canoes and kayaks at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach.  Volunteers required to assist with moving the canoes and  assisting canoeists with buoyancy aids, etc.

kayak-day-5SUNDAY 2ND JULY:  Canoes and kayaks for hire from the Canoe Store at Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire at 10.30; last hire at 2.30pm. Open canoes: £7, single kayaks £4, double kayaks £5. Full terms and conditions on the website under ‘Canoe Hire’. Rafts also available on request.
