TUESDAY 28TH NOVEMBER: Work party meets at Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.00am. Work starts at 9.15 at the Old Highways Depot, Pontardawe Road, Clydach. Final work on the towpath edging, foundations and the security fencing to be completed prior to a site visit by the tarmac contractors which will take place in the next few days.

WEDNESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER:  AGM of the SWANSEA CANAL SOCIETY at 6.30pm in the Vardre Rugby Club, Hebron Road, Clydach.  All welcome. This will be followed by the monthly general meeting and a short talk by Clive Reed, our Heritage Consultant, on the Tareni Colliery in Godre’r Graig and its links with the Swansea Canal.
