THE WEEK AHEAD: 27TH AUGUST TO 2ND SEPTEMBER 2017.

Sunday05 afterSunday, 27th August 2017: Canoes and Kayaks for hire from the canoe store in Coed Gwilym Park, Clydach. First hire at 10.00am, last hire at 2.30pm. Canoes (three seaters), £7; Sit on top kayaks, £5 (double) and £4 (single). Full terms and conditions under ‘Canoe Hire’ in  this website.

IMG_20170328_110029772_HDR     Tuesday 29th August 2017: Work Party meets between 8.00 and 9.00am at Brownsters Cafe, High Street Clydach.  From 9.15 we will be working in the Old Highways Depot, Pontardawe Road, Clydach where we will be moving the portakabin/visiter centre closer to its final destination in the yard.

Tuesday 29th August 2017: Our last week of opening the canoe store on a  school holiday Tuesday. Yes, it’s back to work, kids, next week. Canoes and Kayaks available as per the prices printed above for Sunday the 27th. First hire, 10.00am; last hire, 1.00pm. Terms and conditions as mentioned above.

Wednesday 30th August, 2017:  AGM and Open meeting of the Swansea Canal Society at 7.30pm at the Vardre Rugby Club, Hebron Road, Clydach.
