THE WEEK AHEAD: 31.12.17 TO 6TH JANUARY 2018
TUESDAY 2ND JANUARY 2018: Happy New Year, Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
The Work Party meets in good spirits and with high hopes for the New Year in Brownsters Cafe, High Street, Clydach between 8.00 and 9.,00am. Work starts in the Old Highways Depot, Pontardawe Road, Clydach at 9.15.
We will be clearing up the site in preparation for the 2018 excavations to discover the old canal wall and the buried lock by-wash that runs alongside the lock. We will also be re-erecting the new double gates that give access across the towpath to lorries and heavy plant using the site. This will make the site secure.
